Year 3 Learning Celebration
On Thursday, 31st July, our Year 3 students and their teachers held the Year 3 Learning Celebration in the school hall during the afternoon session.
This special event was an opportunity for students to share and celebrate their learning from Semester One. All Year 3 students were able to invite their parents or caregivers to attend.
It was amazing to see the work students have been producing.

African Drumming Performance – Arts Week at Baringa SPS
As part of our Arts Week celebrations, we’re excited to welcome some special visitors to Baringa SPS on Monday, 4th August for an engaging African Drumming Presentation.
This cultural performance promises to be a vibrant and educational experience for all students.
Families should have already received an invoice for this event, and consent must be provided through Consent Manager.
We’re looking forward to kicking off Arts Week with rhythm and energy!
Kids in Action
This term, a group of Year 4 students will be working closely with Mrs Donohue on an exciting new project focused on our Bush Tucker Garden and other native plants found throughout the school grounds.
As they learn and explore, the students will share their knowledge with the rest of the school later in the term and will also have the opportunity to present their work to students from other schools.
We’re looking forward to seeing the Bush Tucker area become a vibrant, educational space that students are excited to visit and learn from!
Thanks to Mooloolah River Landcare for supporting our Bush Tucker Garden.

Rule Reminder – Nail Polish at School
A friendly reminder that coloured fingernail polish is not to be worn at school.
If students choose to paint their nails over the weekend, please ensure it is removed before Monday morning. Clear polish is acceptable, but anything that draws attention to the nails should be kept for the school holidays.
Thank you for supporting our school expectations and helping students come to school ready to learn.
