Kids in Action Ready to Inspire!

Next week, our amazing Kids in Action Team will proudly present their learning journey to students from across the Sunshine Coast at the annual Kids in Action Workshops.

This inspiring event brings together young environmental leaders to share ideas, projects, and passion for making a difference—and our students are more than ready to shine!

If you're curious about what they’ve been working on, we invite you to explore our Bush Tucker Garden. It’s not only a beautiful space but also an interactive one. Bring your student’s iPad and scan the QR codes throughout the garden to discover videos, reflections, and information prepared by the team.

A big congratulations to our Kids in Action Team for their hard work, dedication, and leadership. We can’t wait to see them represent our school with pride!

Class Allocation Forms for 2026

From the beginning of Week 10, families can collect a Class Allocation Information Form from the school office. This form provides an opportunity for parents and caregivers to share any significant information that may be relevant to their child’s class placement in 2026.

If you are considering submitting a form, please refer to the Principal’s Report for important guidelines and further details.

Completed forms are due back to the office by Wednesday, 12th November 2025, to assist with the class formation process.

From Old to Sold – A Creative Way to Give Back!

As part of their ‘From Old to Sold’ project in Health, our Year 3 students recently put their creativity and sustainability skills to the test by designing and making dog toys from recycled materials.

Thank you to everyone who supported this fantastic initiative—we hope your furry friends are enjoying their new playthings!

We’re proud to share that the students raised an impressive $305, which will go directly towards supporting our Bush Tucker Garden. This project is a wonderful example of how small ideas can make a big impact.

Well done, Year 3!

Celebrating Indigenous Literacy Day

Some of our Year 2 and 3 classes recently celebrated Indigenous Literacy Day by hosting a special book swap in their classrooms.

Students donated books they had finished reading and picked new ones to enjoy at home—sparking excitement and a love for reading among their peers. A big thank you to the teachers for organizing this thoughtful initiative!

Books that weren’t taken home will be donated to Indigenous families in North Queensland, helping to support communities where access to books is limited.

It’s wonderful to see our students connecting through stories and supporting literacy for all.
